I know one thing that please dont go to Newton Drive in, i was there on Monday and i wish i would never go there again. I almost got in fight with an owner i respected because he was an older guy if he wouldn't he would laydown like a bi***.

Went there with Marsela n'd 2 american couples. We drank in the car and we got out to smoke 1, all i saw the guy pulled over to the car behind us, talking to latina grl and 3 american grls , 5 minutes later they pack and race out of the drive in, the next thing you know he pulls to our car, and was like what do u drink there "to marsela" she was like an alcoholic drink, he said got age? , she said we all do, and guy was like give me your ID NOW! , got out of car , and I was like where is my privacy? why dont you just call police and they can check the ID for you. American friend was really rude to the owner but he didn't care.  Owner took 3 minutes maybe even more to check on an ID i was like listen that's enough i dont want you to fuc***ng remember her address and shi7 all you have to look is for an b-day. I am like r u police or something? he said YEAh ok i am calling a cops i said...so he is like "you said or something" and he told me "get in to the fu*** car and sit there " that pissed me even more off " i said listen if you would be at least 20 years younger you would lay down and be happy my fiance is here"

So thats kinda short story what happen to me 3 days ago at newton, sorry guys but i think the guy was racist but totaly obiously , not because i am from slovenia but others did notice that too.

The latina girl and 3 others ware out of there because they ware "to loud" that was 2 hours before the movie starts ,

after like 15-20 minutes there was bounch of kids playing on the ground screaming yealling crying and dude's didn't do sh** to them or say anything.

ill try next time one in centerville it might be 30 minutes longer but at least i won't get harrasment lol

Well.. I suppose it's been long enough... I need to chime in on this one...

First of all.. technically, you're not supposed to take your own beverages and such into the drive in... just like any other theater, you're supposed to buy your stuff there.  That's how the theaters make their money... it's not off the movie.

Secondly... it is the owner's responsibility to make sure that his patron's are of legal age if they are doing something of that sort on his property.  Just like a bar or any other property... if you allow someone under age to drink... YOU will get fined for it as well.  It's called "contributing"

I am pretty sure that the owner didn't single you out... that place is packed 99% of the time and he probably just noticed you.  Last time I checked Marsela was a very pretty girl... kinda hard to not get noticed when you're hanging out with someone so attractive.

So my point being... don't judge the drive-in on that one incident.  Come back... follow the rules... and I'm sure you'll enjoy the trip.  

BTW... if you guys roll into Newton for this movie... PLEASE let me know... I want to be there... and my son is dying to see this movie!

the movie teather or drive in is damn good i saw that in bosnia,slovenia and germany only in movies and i experienced live in newton! i love it

but owner "customer treating" should be more polite and not bash into my face like a hooligan,,, ok talk to me its ok ,,,,but dont f*** get under my face and almost spit at me while talking to me.....thats what i hate it most......i was polite "as customer" he was damn rude as "owner" i wouldn't mind him checking on ID of ALL of us but just ask nicely thats all i wanted some customer respect and not imediate hate ........he might have rights to ask for ID but he does not have right that he IS "police officer" as he said......ok if i would be with marsela i would say i am wrong in the situation and forget about it .......but there ware 2 other couples and ware same thinking as i am ......its not about who i am , what i am ......its the way he talk to me as for others.........yes the drive in was full packed ......but from about 60 -70 car's only "us" and the "latina" grl was ask to leave? ......+ they don't sell alcohol bevarages they sell pop and hot dogs and chips that's it. ...... as of my right i can be at "anyplace in US" standing right next to my car drinking alcoholic bevarage with ignition off "that was brought to me when i apply for visa"

the place is perfect and g8 but owner sux thats all i want to say....and u guy's go there i wish u would go there because that would be a perfect meeting.....is just that "I" dont feel confy beeing at some place where i was rasisticaly harraset.......sorry u might not understand that because u r american ........but put your self in my position and think again if someone tells u "go get in the f*** car and shut your mouth or you will all have to get out of here"

If we go there to watch 3F3F, I am sure everyone in the club will have your back.  I doubt the owner will do anything to you when you have a bunch of your friends there to back you up.

Got new info from Dean on the release date and it's not looking like we will get it this month.  

We'll probably do this at the beginning of August instead.

That means two things:

#1) If you want to see the movie now, see it.  I probably will.  We WILL see this film at the drive-in, but it won't be for a few weeks.

#2) We need to have a July meet.  I'll start a thread at some point.
