Well its getting close to Asylum, i know Alex is going and im also planning on going. Id like to see some more of us show up to it. They made the trip to are event here in iowa so we should diffently show are support. I know many of you have things going on and cant make it which is understandable but if youve got the time id like to see as many people as possible, ok ill start an official roll call.

My hotel room is reserved. I'll probably leave very early on the 16th to make it down there. Greg, if you want to come into town on the 15th and leave from here, I can put you and Jillian up for the night or something.

so whos all gonna be going for sure....i just requested work off so im game...just have to get my room and yes i know i only have like 2 days left to do that....anyone else flying solo and maybe wanna split the cost of a room..save some money just an idea...holla back

Mapquest has us burnin' Interstate all the way down there basically and it estimates about 500 miles. That works out to just over 7 hours really.
That's from Ames.
If we kick out of here at about 9:00 am I think we'll be good to go.
There is talk about a group dinner or something on Friday night too. I'm sure we'll all be hanging out together though no matter what. Let's just try to NOT get kicked out of the hotel for Friday night. We still need somewhere to stay for Saturday!
Anyway, what do you guys think of leaving from Ames at 9:00 or Des Moines at 10:00 or so?
Greg, you're welcome to crash at my place on Thursday night if you like. Nothing like cutting two hours off of your trip the day before! Let me know.

lol maybe huxley :wink: ..lol jk i can drive north to ames first i suppose...huxley cops suck so probably would be bad...they'd bust us cuz they would be dumb enough to think we are planning some criminal mischief.....9 works for me.......hope i can drive for 7 hours though without dazing off or falling asleep

unless someone *alex* can get me off work very early 9 is not gonna work for me. Most likely since im new and dont want to ask for time off i will be leaving ames at 5 and getting to tulsa between 11 and 12. Hate to miss the caravan and all but work is work.

I'm counting too, unfortunately, I'm counting the time I have left to do mods!!
Been sick the past couple of days and got NOTHING done to the car! I was counting on doing things all last Sunday, but something poisoned me Saturday at dinner and I have been pretty much stuck in bed to avoid being dizzy and wanting to hurl.
Hopefully I can still get some things done before the big show.
