just talked to a buddy that has a gf in marshalltown and he said if we take 30 all the way over to marshal it will take like 3 hrs bc of speed and crap. he said it takes 80 min if we go on 80 and then hit kellog bc its all 4 lane. Just a thought... maybe we should meet in iowa city

Thats a little exaggeration... It only takes me an hour and a 40 minutes to Ames on 30 and Ames is beyond Marshalltown, Trust me I make this drive a lot I'm guessing and hour and a half at longest from Cedar Rapids.

highway 30s traffic isnt usually that bad.....you should be fine on time....just treat it like the interstate..lol even when there is only 2 lanes

ok lets meet at the wendys on 33rd, just off of 380, its easy to find.. let meet around noon, I know exactly where we're meeting in Mtown so I'll be glad to lead the pack. It will bring back memories of the old days when Scinergyia was just getting off the ground meeting there...

I don't know the slowness of an xb but for a tc its hour 20 to hour 30 from ames to cr.

OK guys I know the xB is slower than the tC but there was one beautiful sunny spring day when I was going to Ames to pick up my CAI that I made it from CR to Ames on Highway 30 in an hour and 10 minutes I believe, and yes that was in my xB!!! Had that little motor screaming all the way!
