So, for those of you that don't know, I'm planning on moving back to Iowa quite soon. I was hoping to get a job in the Iowa City area at a transmission shop, but after calling around to all the shops in IC and CR no one is hiring :x
So I guess I go to my fall-back plan and work at a dealership until I can find a trans shop hiring. Anybody have a recommendation as to a good dealer to work for? As a service tech? I found McEleny is hiring in Cedar Rapids. I was wondering if they have a bad reputaion in town.

Hey Brett, I've been thinking about this, have you tried a bike shop at all? I know some things are different, but you should have the skills to do stuff for them and everybody I have known in a bike store has really liked it.
Maybe check out that route.
Of course, you know you always have your fallback.

I'll be in Ames more often at least.
I don't think I really want to come back to live in Ames. Maybe I'll end up there again some day, but Transmission jobs are kinda limited there.

Well, that's the tricky part. Clint said he might need me on the 5th of sept. So assuming I can find a place to live (which I shouldn't have too much trouble), maybe then. I have quite a few places I'm looking at today.
