I know i know, there is the poll

but i really think that meets and stuff need to be announced more than a week in advance.  I'm not hating on anyone its just very frustrating for me to not really ever know whats going on.  I have no problem with how alex and roy are handling the club i just feel as though (being further away) its important that i have a couple of weeks in advance to make meets.

With school starting up there is a lot of time management that i need to be doing and if i don't have any advance i wont be able to make any more meets.  

So this isn't like an ultimatum (sp?) or anything i just think it would benefit the club a lot more to give people that aren't in des moines some more time to scheudle things

I agree, I would have waited to see Ricky Bobby if I had known that we were going to have a meet for it. But I saw it opening weekend and I'm not going to blow infinity dollars on gas to see it a second time.

Well, this movie thing has been a problem from the beginning.  The reason we had short notice on it is because we have been waiting for the new Fast and Furious movie which they told us would be coming to the drive-in and never did.  

Ricky Bobby is closing on Thursday at the drive-in and I don't know of any other "related" movies we would all want to see so it HAD to be short notice.

Normally our monthly meets are planned a month in advance, but that's not possible sometimes during the summer.  I get busy selling stuff here at work and don't have the time to devote to planning events we all want to do that I have in the Winter and other times.  Add to that the many big events we have in June, July, and August and it basically screws every weekend we get.

Those who have been with the club for more than a year will remember this same thing happens every summer and then smooths out in the Fall and Winter only to ramp back up in the Spring.

Don't worry, things will straighten out starting next month.

I agree Ben, it is really hard to do on short notice, like Alex said fall and winter smooth out, what traditionally has happened in  the past is the day after a meet someone, anyone, posts up a when are we going to meet next post. then we vote on it and there we go, we have some notice.... we'll try real hard to pick that back up again..this summer has been crazy, oh and BTW I think its way overdue for an east coast meet!!!!

yeah i know roy i'm just saying its kind of annoying when u make plans and then you also gotta go to your monthly meets.  so its rough.

The great thing about Scinergy is that there are no requirements...even for monthly meets.  So if you have other things going on, it’s cool, you're not going to get booted for not going.  Maybe a little flack, but not the boot.
