Yeah thats right. We need to B.B.Q. one more time before the snow falls. This time I'd like to do something centralized since we had the last one in Cedar falls. (thanks again to Roy for going above and beyond for gettin the park pavilion and bringin his grille without which the last one would have been tough)
I'm willing to host this one at my place since it will probably be kinda chilly outside. If we'd reather be outside I'll be happy to reserve a shelter at any park we choose or I have a 3 season patio on the back of the house.
I'd like to know what everyone's weekends look like as I'd like to get as much participation as possible. I'm open for any weekend. I'll even push to November is that means more of our members can show up.
Lets do this again. I had a great time last weekend and I'd like to see it come together one more time before snowfall.

I could see about gettin the clubhouse at my place. I know the owner is cool with us using it for meets and such. All I would need would be smoe dates that people want this so i can see what is avail.

If we can manage to get this in Ames I would happily go. Sadly, I don't have time to drive to Cedar Rapids and back(work + full time grad school + my thesis). I barely have time to sleep anymore, but I would gladly make an hour or 2 in my schedule for some(I really just want the club sticker ).

Acid, I have talked with Jason and he is planning on having this in Des Moines. It would be cool to finally meet you.
Jason knows I am down for this and I am hoping that some new recruits I have talked to will be able to show up to this "meet and greet". It should be a fun time and hopefully, the weather is a little better than it was last weekend in Cedar Rapids.
Once we get a date figured out, I will know for sure if I will be able to come or not, but for now, count me in.

There's a couple reasons I'd really like to do this in DSM but I'm down for Ames if that works better for everyone.
The main reasons I'd like to have this in DSM is for one, if I do it somewhere else then I have a little more trouble planning and I usually end of having the buck passed on to someone local(i.e. Roy in CR for the last one) and two, there's never anything in DSM. I'd also like to try to have this at my place because If it's cold outside, we've got All indoors(and there's plenty of room) and we've got a few amenties we don't get outdoors(TV, movies, games etc......) plus I've got a grille with plenty of space.
I'd like to invite the club over to my place. I'd love for everyone to feel welcome here. I'm down for saturdays but we'd most likely have to do a saturday evening event if we don't do Sunday because a lot of people also work ssaturdays. I'm not going to set a definate time for at least another week because I want to know what everyone's schedual is looking like. I know that this is a busy month so I'm going to do what I can to include everyone but I'm also going to accept that I can't accomodate everyone so I don't want anyone to feel that they are being x'd out because of the date chosen.
PM me, e-mail me, respond in here. let me know what everyone's schedual looks like and I'll see what we can fit it.
Thanks again and this might be the last Grille "OUT" that we'll be able to do for a little while.

na it wont be the last one for a while....i say we have one around the end of january. hey around my birthday. which it has a tendency to blizzard around then..well when we had normal winters. that would definitely be interesting. a grill out with your parka(sp?) on. but yes enough of that. as of now im free anytime after this weekend on the weekends so pretty much open to whatever. and well doesnt matter where it is because im pretty much between ames and des moines so. well theres my vote for when and where. yes i know not much help
