I kinda miss Ryan for discussions like this.  It was nice having a cop around for commentary.  Maybe we can recruit one somewhere.  We sold a Spec tC to the Boone Sheriff, but he didn't seem like the Internet Forum type really...

I wonder if Ryan's Calibur has exploded yet...

Yeah, Huxley cops suck.

Thought I'd chime in with an interesting tidbit I picked up on the sounddomain forums a while back.

It was a post warning against doing the mods to allow headunits to play DVDs while you're driving. The gist was that if you would have an accident and it was discovered that you had done the mod, it was pretty much guaranteed that you would be found responsible for the accident. This would be even if you had not been using the screen or even if you were driving correctly and the other person made the mistake. The insurance company will assume that since you *could* have been watching your screen and not the road, you *were* and thus you are at fault.

This doesn't exactly apply to Nick's mod, but since we were discussing these types of rules I thought I'd mention it. And I'm not trying to knock Nick's mod or anything either, it looks crazy and should be really cool when it's done.

Although when you're done only short people are gonna be able to ride shotgun!  8O
