I doubt many of you really know Sean or talk to him, but Sean (Mybox) recently had a garagefire that ended up taking everything he had, including his amazing show winner xB.   An amazing piece of work  Sad      Its sad to see another beautiful car lost in the fire (all_star_xB was the other one owned by Jim).   At least no one was hurt.

The before and after:

And now:

Im sad to see it gone, as it was the premier VIP xB in this nation, hands down  Sad        My prayers are with the family that they can salvage as much as they can.

At least everyone is ok physically speaking. It's sad to see all that hard work go down in flames.

Damn.

Yeah, that's sad as hell.  There was a lot of work in that car and Sean is a good guy (he got my mirrors for me).  Scott, I know that was one of your very favorite rides too.

Well, any chance for a Phoenix II??

Yep it was sad to see like that  Sad    I got a chance to talk to Darren today, and he said that the house was saved at least, and didnt go down like first thought.  So a lot of personal possesions were saved.     Pretty much all in the garage is gone, and all because of a battery charger.   So in a blessing I suppose, some is saved in the house and everyone is safe.

The beetle oddly enough, was worth as much as the Scion!   The beetle is an oval top with the rag top, and ran 9s on the built 600 hp motor.   8O     Its gonna be hard to recoop on that too, as it wasnt insured like the xB.    The estimate on teh xB is around 50K he thinks for what he'll get.

I doubt Sean is gonna do a Phoneix project really.   Id be willing to be hes gonna do a true VIP platform, but who knows. Sad stuff.

Was Sean in Iowa? My heart dropped after I saw the before/after pics.  God bless that no one was hurt in the fire.

Naw Sean was never in IA.  Well if he was, I hope he'd have called me!!  Tongue    You're probably thinking of Herb from 402 Customs/Big Bang and his metal widebody/Fab kitted chameleon xB.   A nice car also, but not quite on the same level as Seans.

Sean looks like hes not gettin a Scion either, but he at least says he'll stay in the "world" and get parts for people still     Lexus 460 might be on the way for him, which will be amazing when hes done with it!   8O   Cool
