Ya I think I have seen one or two around.  Not a real common car around here I dont think.  I also believe they axed the NSX this year so no more will be made.  They definitely are a sharp little car though

I have only seen a few around Des Moines.  They are much more than 25,000 new though.  They were made from 1990 through 2005 and cost 80,000+ new.

There's 10-20 of them in Des Moines but only 2-3 are used on a regular basis. I've seen 2 black ones. a red one and one yellow one.

Well, aside from the Beetle of course...

Anyway, Ben, you're wrong.  Joe is INFALLABLE.  In fact, just after he made that statement we called up Nissan and had them buy the NSX name and then every NSX ever sold and rebadge them as Nissans.  The entire process took less than 38 minutes.  It was pretty damn slick.

To prove they are Nissans Jason bought three of them.

That is all.

-Lando

As a side note, wasn't there an NSX tooling around HIN Chicago when we were out there?  I seem to remember that...  Could've been sunstroke though...

Alex, I remember that NSX.  All of the exterior panels were made of carbon fiber.  It was pretty crazy looking.

I have seen red, yellow, and white NSX's here in Des Moines and a different white one on the road between Des Moines and Ames heading south.

The only problem with the NSX is the stock wheels...They are the most horrible wheels that could EVER be put on that car.

Here is a good article about them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_NSX (Honda NSX in Japan.  Acura here in the States)

The 2005's are $105,000 new.  Thats why they are not so common.   They are a complete rip off in my opinion.

At best, expect 290 hp, it is BARELY faster than my 350z, and cost over 3 times more.  For that price, you can get a brand new Corvette Z06, and have $35,000 left over.   8O
