Sorry for the crappy pic, but Leia has the camera in SoDak this weekend and this had to be done with my cell.

In any case, NEW FEETS!!

Did I actually tell anybody here I was getting these?  I don't remember.  Anyway, Cass has my TRD "SPITE Edition" rims on the Yaris now and I am rockin' the Sportmax (now SPITEmax) 002 15X8" with the zero offset.  I can see why these are so popular on the coast.  They give this car a whole new look you just gotta see!

Better pictures to come when I get the camera back.

Enjoy!

Those look VERY good. I saw them saturday in person and all I can say is WOW!

I was looking at some Axis wheels similar to those not long ago. The Oldskools.

All I can say is Alex, they look damned good.

So how does it handle the corner now that you got more rubber to the pavement?

Also give me a call when you get all the brush together and we can be around after 5 to get it from you.

Actually, the tires are NARROWER than my TRD rims.  Those were a 215 on a 7.5" rim.  These are a 195 on an 8" rim.  STRETCH!!

Handling is okay.  I haven't really pushed it because I'm not 100% sure what pressures I need to run on these.  Can be pretty confusing when you're doing things to the tires they weren't really designed for...

The kitty doesn't need to hit the vet right away now so I'll have time to do the brush in the morning.  I'll call.

Looks banging Alex!   What profile is the tire?  50 or 55?    I would recommend probably 35 psi in the tires.    With that little bit of extra stretch, you want to keep the bead on their hard.   Granted the bead will still stick on the tire with the recommended 29 psi, but with 35 it gives you some leeway just incase you lose pressure in a tire for some reason, such that it wont give loose.   (The only inherent bad quality of stretching is that if you lose pressure and it pops the tire off the bead sometimes instead of just going flat. )   Keep up the good work Alex!
