Sweet.  Should be a fun show.  Are you going to make it down there for the pre-party Alex?

I had hoped to leave work a bit early on Friday the 8th.  I can't remember how long the drive took though.  Maybe 8 hours?  Maybe more?  I keep getting Tulsa and Roswell confused in my mind for some reason.

I might hit the night event, but nothing is for sure.

Yea, Tulsa is about 7-8 hours from Ames depending on how you drive.  It doesn't seem like a long drive though, it goes by pretty quick.

Took us forever last year alex because we got stuck in KC for like 2 hours.  My uncle lives down there and said rush hour is pretty much from 7 am until 7 pm.

Last year there was construction as well so that screwed things up a bit.

Yeah, looking like I am now out for Asylum.  The car is nowhere near ready to present, I'm wiped, and I'm moderately broke too.  In addition, I'll be the only near-management Scion guy at the dealership for the next two weeks.  I need to keep an eye on every Scion deal we do to make sure we don't blatantly break the covenant.  That pretty much sucks.

Final straw was my ride getting egged on Friday night.  I caught some paint damage and may need to replace some vinyl too.  Also got a new dent on the roof.  That makes 4 for those counting...

So yeah, kind of a bummer since I was excited about representing for the team and seeing everybody down there.

I talked to Jon today and wished him well with the show.  Sounds like he's a bit stressed which I can easily identify with.

ScinergyIA folks, if you get a chance, drop by www.scikotics.com and wish our brothers and sisters a good show.  They did a great job last year and shows like Asylum are the key to making Scion recognize that the Midwest has something to offer the brand too.

Sorry I can't make it.  I wish Tony, Ben, Cisco, Steve and everyone else who is going the best of luck!

Just wanted to say hello from Asylum.  We had a great show with well over 100 registered Scions, and that is without the Tulsa chapter's cars.  I wanted to let everyone know that Iowa held its own in the show.  Out of 34 trophies, Scions from Iowa took home 8 of them.  That is pretty good for such a small state.  You guys missed a good one.

By the way, Scott Horberg stopped by tonight at the night show and I finally bought up my "One Love" shirt.
