July 28th AND 29th near Springfield MO at the Price Cutter Field (old ducks stadium) on 65 and CC Hwy.

To benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks

Lasting Impressions is holding their 6th annual custom and classic car show this year with the support of many sponsors including Reliable Scion. This is a two day show running on both a Saturday and Sunday. Here you will be able to show off your ride vs. basically any other type of custom car out there. Last year there were 165 registered cars, this year we can hold up to 1,000!!!

Reliable Scion will be there with a live DJ and plenty of schwag to give away both days.

There is also an after party at Remington's Downtown Saturday night. Be prepared, this show will knocj you down!

Registration opens at 9am Saturday morning
Judging begins at noon on Saturday. We'll shut down around 5pm on Saturday.

Afterparty will be around 9pm and Springfield bars close at 1:30 am.

Sunday Final judging begins at noon and awards are at 3pm.

This is a pretty big show, dont let Scott's misspelling fool you. 

The show wasnt originally held at Duck's Stadium, but over the years the event has grow quick.  The new location will hold 1000+ cars, more that enough space for any club/organization.

Just to let you know that this show runs all weekend (Sat and Sun).  The judging runs on Sat, then that night there is an afterparty downtown.  On sunday is the award presentation.  There are more than enough hotels in Springfield, and if there arent there is always Branson , which is a few miles south.

Well here it is! Just in case anyone was worried about it, I have secured the ability to pay for each and every one of your $25 entry fee! All I need to know is who's coming down so I can get your name on the list and pay your way! Don't worry, if you don't sign up and still show up I'll still cover you, but please if you intend to come sign the list here so I can make sure to pay for enough entries and not have to shell the cash out at the show from my own pocket!

I'm also making some custom Scion sport bottles, they should be pretty cool and we'll be handing those out. There will also be a t-shirt involved in the deal for you all.

Also, there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd for all xA, xB and tC classes. In addition to the prizes given out by Lasting Impressions I am also going to sponsor $50 for 1st place in each class. This will be on a visa mall gift card, so you can spend it anywhere they take plastic!

Here's what I need from you all. Get a sign-up list going. It will need to be like this so I can get everything down. It should read, name, guests, screenname, club, car type, and size of t-shirt.

Hey, I did some looking and if a bunch of you wanted to Kamp, (get it . . . with a "K") then KOA is probably your best bet. I stayed ina  bunch of them. They have some basic cabins you can crash at if you don't want to spend the money on a hotel but don't have or want to sleep in a tent, they have tent sites, and it's just all aroudn a plain ol good deal.

The KOA is right off the highway, granted on teh other side of town, but it's SPRINGFIELD, no KC, Tulsa, or Des Moines . . . heck it's not even Little Rock! 20 mins tops from this site to the show.

Here is a google map of the place. I know right where it's at and it's not so remote you can't find it but remote enough that you aren't in someone's backyard (AHEM!)

Let me know if anyone needs any help finding a place to stay. There is also hotel info on the flyer if you can cath it before the gif flips over again!

Update on after party for Lasting Impressions Show-Me Showdown!

We are having the after party at a new bar called "Mixology". It is located just behind Sonic on S. campbell. You have to drive through the parking lot for the dent place next door. It's not hard to find, but it looks really cool!

Free to get in but it's 21 and up.

for those of you under 21, there are plenty of other clubs in Springfield. I recommend Jordan Creek downtown. They have a myspace as well at http://www.myspace.com/jordancreek
