Ok so we need to get another meet planned... as we look at the calender, July is filling up very fast. what does this mean. I think it means that our July meet will have to be joint with one of the many July functions.
However for August.... Alex and I have been discussing with a couple of our new Quad city people, a meet down there. So what we are thinking is a BBQ at a local park down there sometime in August.. I would suggest the first part before schools start back up. We have a line on a possible location. I just really want all our active members to support this meet. right now there isn't a Scion Dealer in the Quad Cities, but I believe there will be soon, we need to get Scinergy active in the area before they are up and running so we can grow in the region as scions grow!!

Just a little heads up, I stopped into the "future" Scion dealer here in Moline this morning and they already have 1 new tC and an '08 xb2 I talked to a uninformed/ uneducated sales person briefly and he said they cant sell them until this up-comming Monday. I do not know however when the new larger location will be opened. Let me know a date you wanna shoot for so I can get down to the parks dept. with money to reserve the shelter. (I dont think they'll take a card over the phone)  |

I say we look at the 5th. I will be in South Dakota the weekend of the 12th and I think the weekend after that is 2 or 3 different shows all over the place.
What does everybody else think?
August 5th? Quad Cities? How about we invite the Moline dealer staff to the meet and we can teach them a few things? Not a bad idea IMO...

Tha works for me as far as I know, however I was laid off from work today and picked back up by another contractor starting tommorow, so I'll need to see what schedule thier working to know for sure. ( I'm gonna be PO'ed if they're working Saturdays  I want to attend the CR show.... oh well, I'll know more tommorow... I'll check the availability for the park on that day as well... |

i'll offer up my backyard for camping, and my couches for anyone who doesn't want to drive back to Des Moines/Ames on Sat night. just a heads up though, we have one small bathroom, and our water pressure sucks...

I live in a trailer so there isn't enough room for even my little family! Otherwise there are TONS of places within a 20 mile radius to camp.

if some of the DM peeps want to stay at my place after the CR show i have some room. only a couch but there is plenty of floor space. Please let me know. i'd go to the meet on the 5th but i have some prior arrangements but either way the offer still stands just let me know so i can clean up a bit |
