Did you find one yet? Mine is an 89, black cherry, red stripes, and aluminum rims from a Chrysler Laser (Daytona clone from the '80's) with white letter 235/60 R15's, and free breathing exhaust. I LOOOOOOOOVE it. It has had about $2000 in upkeep in the 151K I have had it, including a head gasket, and oil lines, fuel lines nad filters, brake calipers, rad, A/C comp, etc. Even a new tranny.
How do I like it? With slight mods, being exhaust, wheels and tires, it runs 14 flat. I am getting the hotter computer and an intercooler, with plans of hitting 13 flat with a basically stock turbo Caravan. It has no woodgrain, and the paint looks great. I will post pics, but you would be jealous. I looked for one for ten years, as my FIL's BIL had one with a 5-speed I wanted, but he sold oit out from under me with nearly 300K, and my last turbo was a Plymouth Acclaim, that looked like a rental, but ran like a scalded dog.
This van was owned by a preacher I knew, who passed away, and barely drove it. I bought it four years ago with 40K, garage kept, and pampered. I use it daily in my business of copiers, printers and fax sales and service, so it hauls machines, and runs deliveries and service calls. I put the miles on it. Nothing was done on it by the original owner but tires, and such. I have done all the work myself, and love it. It is really funny to dust a 'stang or fart can Honda and show them it is a four banger. I even swapped a non-turbo cam cover on it to fool the unwary. I am just looking for a bumper sticker that says "Got Boost?". I love it and would not sell it, as I looked so long for one. I know where there is one in south MO. :-)PCRMike
