Hope everyone has a great Independence Day!  I'm going to take a refreshing nap and then watch the kerplosions later.

We had a great time at the parade. Ended up with four xB's people of Garnavillo hardly knew what hit them. The parade had over 100entries. Alex and Rachel were amazed. Later we'll go to the fireworks. Hope everyone has a great safe holiday.

I had an excellent 4th! I had some burgers and brews with friends, then we put my new skunk2 springs on the toaster in less than 1 hour! Now I cant wait to drive it, but now isnt a good time, brews and all......

A big Thankyou to To Alex and Rachel for making the Journey up to Garnavillo for our little parade.. we  had a lot of fun, hope you two did too.

I had a great 4th! I played a little golf, had a 'few' beers, saw Transformers (AWESOME, btw) and spent time with my lady.

I wish I could have made it but I had family stuff on the 4th and Robin got to work all day. Sounds like it was fun. Hey Alex, how was the cake?

There was a parade?  Man that cake was amazing...


HAHA!  We had a fantastic time with Roy and his family up there in the hills of Iowa.  The parade was a great experience and we didn't even hit any kids!

We had a fun drive back home even although we were super exhausted.

Huge thanks to Roy and his folks for having us and for their incredible hospitality!  If you ever have the opportunity to have Roy's Mom's Tres Leches cake, TAKE IT!  I think I ate half the cake myself that day...

We actually missed the fireworks back in Ames because we passed out when we arrived.  Not to worry though, we'll catch them again!
