OK everyone here are the official details for this meet, it will be on Sunday August 5th at Mel McKay park in Southwest Rock Island. We have the shelter from 11am to 5pm. Aaron was kind enough to reserve it for us. I figure we can roll in between 12 and 1 grill up some stuff and have a good time. This is an attempt by Scinergyia to expand and create more activity in the Quad Cities area. We do have a few people on the site from that area, and there is a Fledgling Scion Dealership in the area now. SO lets all do the best we can to show up and support our members in this area.
this is the day after CR Scions show! So for those of you who are from Des Moines or Ames or other parts of the state, if you want to crash at my place after the show and then we can all head down to the Quad cities on Sunday morning. I have a couple of spare couches and a couple of airmatresses we can set up. Alex has already claimed the big couch.
so heres the roll call, add your name and what your bringing.

I figured that I should give some directions so that people know where to go... The park is in "Southwest Rock Island" but unless you know where all the borders are, it might as well be Milan. Since I assume most members will be comming from the C.R. and Ames areas, I'll give those directions... When your comming East on I-80 towars the Quad Cities, take the I-280 E exit toward Chicago (I believe it is marked Rock Island Moline) It's just past the I-80 truck stop in Walcott. Follow I-280 accross the Mississippi and take the first Illinois exit (Andalusia) . Follow that road (IL 92)through 2 stop lights and then turn left at the stop sign (Ridgewood Rd). Mel McKay park is on your right. there is a watertower right accross the street from the entrance.
