That's right!  It's that time of year again.  Time for the International Hobo Convention and Car Show in Britt, IA!

I know you've been counting the days.

The convention is all weekend in case you want to jungle (yeah, in hobospeak "jungle" is a verb), but the CAR SHOW is on Sunday!

Registration opens at 8 and judging starts at noon.  I will be leaving Ames with a few others from my house at 7:30am and heading up there.  Drive time from Ames is about 1.5 hours.

Tony, Stephanie, Nick and I had a great time last year and took home two hobos!  Um, trophys, not actual hobos.  That's unethical...

This is tomorrow!!  Sounds like Nick is riding with me and Leia.  Steve is driving his, Gered is a maybe, Andy and Robin are a probably, and Brett may come to support "on his way back from Omaha". 

Anybody else care to jungle with us on Main St. in Britt??

Wow, where was everyone?  We had a fun time at the show despite the heat and humidity.  A LOT of nice cars showed up.  Scions swept the import category winning first, second, and third over some decent imports.  They even had some pretty good raffle prizes.  It was a good time, you guys missed out.
