Well you have all been wondering when s3 is going to be held this year . . . Here is the official notice for s3, the Scion Skate Show this year. For those of you who haven't been around for the past 2 events, this is one of the three premier events in the Midwest. Reliable Scion is going all out for you all again!


You all know the drill! Skate Tournament, Free Scion only Car show, Live DJ, Q102 Radio Remote, Raffles for iPods and all kinds of Scion schwag!

This year we will have three classes in three categories to compete in. We are going to compete in Street, Mild and Wild this year. Each category will be broken down into xB, tC, and xA/xD.

Here are the preliminary Raffle Items:
A couple iPod (they are getting ready to come out with some new ones, so I don't which ones yet, but I'll get a few of 'em!)
Live Art (Fredy won this last year and it was pretty cool I thought, so we'll do it again!)
A bunch of Scion Hats
A Bunch of NICE Scion backpacks
A Custom s3 Skateboard
and the usual, CD's, Mints, etc.

We'll also be selling s3 shirts to benefit the Skate Park again this year. Remember, this is a City Park and our reason for doing this (other than it being a blast) is to help raise money for the Skate Park. Last year we raised over $6,000 for them! The 2 ways you can help donate is to buy a raffle ticket for a dollar to win some cool stuff or by buying a custom s3 T-Shirt made by Reverse Logic Clothing!

Pre-Party isn't set in stone yet, but I am working with a nice downtown restaurant to get catering and space arranged. I will need a basic headcount of how many people will want to come to the Pre-Party the night before the show. So if you plan to come down and get a hotel that Saturday night, and want to party with us and get some free grub, be sure to sign up on the sign up list for the s3 pre-party Located HERE. It will be a mingle type deal with some amazing food, we're going all out on the spread, but I still have some particulars to nail down. Sign up if you are interested in coming the night before and getting to meet up with everyone around 8-11 pm or so on the 13th. Free Food and we'll hand out info about Springfield here, so if you want to go out while you are downtown you have the info you need!

Can't wait to see you all again! Go ahead and start a Sign-Up list here so we get an idea on headcount. I can fit close to 100 cars, so if the list gets that big, I'll need to be able to plan ahead!

It is a great show.  Went last year and had a blast.  Looks like I am gonna have several Scikotics rolling down to the show with me.  We could all join up and caravan down there.

Far be it from me to break tradition.  I'll head to Springfield Saturday after work.  Get there around midnight if I don't get lost in southern MO...  Show Sunday and then head back Sunday evening.  I'll be there though, and I'll be making a run for a trophy.  Everybody better BRING IT!

Thanks for the support! If any of you make it in the night before, I have an AWESOME floor that is great for sleeping on, lol. Camping is permitted in my backyard, and anyone needing a place to crash is 100% OK with me (just clear it with me at least 10 minutes before you get here, lol)
