Well  you know the saying you gotta pay to play....?  well with camber that is more than true... here are some pics of my rear tires.... remember these tires were not new this summer, had unknown miles on them  with at least one season of camber wear before I got them.... I was hoping they'd last the summer... they didn't went out this morning and one was flat, and honestly I'm surprised the other wasn't too.
soo right now I have all four stockers back on til I can get the tires replaced..

yeah I've heard of them but they are waaay too expensive for my tastes... the advantage I have is that I'm running 15s  usually that size isn't too painful to replace...

Kumho might be the cheapest tires I have ever bought, but on my old Scion xA  in snow, in rain or sun they were AWESOME , yes there was some noise but that was due to 19inch wheels! I paid I think 60$ per tire . Looking right now at tiretrack Kumho has almost best rating out of all of the middle range tires. even better rating then Michelin and Pirelli which I am surprised.

DANG!  That camber really ate those tires!

Make sure there aren't any rubbing issues too though.  I know they should sit out farther than anything in there, but it may be worth installing those then having Andy and myself sit in back so you can look for possible rubs.  Also, check those shock towers for big gobs of rubber and stuff.

They really shouldn't have worn out THAT fast.  Even with the camber.

it really looks like the tread separated, not just wear...there are signs of dry rot on the tires too.. kind wonder if the rubber is just a little old on top of everything...

Looks like the tires on my civic looked like once when it had too much camber.

Yeah and I'm only running -3 camber plates. Can you imagine what the guys running higher must do to their tires. I know of a lot of California people running -5 and at least one running -8!

Exactly what happened to the rears on my Supra.  Luckily I was on the way to the dealer to get new tires mounted.  What tires are those?  Mine were Bridgestone Potenzas.  After that I went to Kumhos to save some cash and was quite happy.

I think they were Dunlops in the 195/55R15 variety.  Can't remember for sure, but they already had some wear on them.

Roy, have you had toe corrected since you dropped?  That'll chew them just as fast as the camber.

When I lowered my S10 i put rims on the same day - in 1 month of driving (80-100 miles per day) they looked like that. I didnt have the money for the alignment right away but ended up buying new tires and an alignment a month later. They were brand new tires...

That sucks

the camber plates I have are supposed to have toe correction, from my understanding there is no toe adjustment on the rear of the 1st gen xBs....thats why the camber plates have it built in...I really should get it in and get it checked out to see if thats true or not....
