I am wondering if anyone has a good way (other than not driving) to get rid of the snow and ice my tires kick up and get caked on the frame.  I try kicking it off, but I feel like I am killing my car when I do that.  Not to mention the crack is hardly big enough for my foot.
Just looking for suggestions.  Thanks

Well my solution wouldn't work for everyone but a nice hot water spray wash works great. Smiley

That would be my reccomendation too.  Only problem is that in cold weather then you get icing issues if you washed your entire car

Kicking is bad.  Your best bet is to just leave it there until it is slushy.  Then you can tap it off with your toe or fingers.

There isn't much you can do to prevent the ice from building there, but it is a good idea to make sure the painted areas that will be hit with it are waxed or otherwise protected before winter arrives.
