OK people since I didn't get a ton of input I'm calling the next meet. We will be meeting on Saturday evening May 16th, In Cedar Rapids at "The Tilted Kilt" probably around 7 pm ish.
Warning Tilted kilt is probably not family friendly, it is not a strip club or anything, just think of it as a racier Hooters type place.... so if we need to find a different location let me know....
Why so late? Why on a Saturday night well there is a method to my madness, Sunday May 17th is the Camp Courageous Show! So those from out of town who would like to attend that show can if you like drive to Cedar Rapids Saturday evening, we can clean cars after the meet, and all be ready to drive out to the show Sunday! I'll offer my place as a place for some people to crash if needed.

sad enough the club has been very quiet im frankly kind of disappointed even if someone cannot attend it would be nice to see some at online participation i know everyone is busy but 2 mins anyone can find the only reason i wont be at this one is due to vacation i dont get back from arizona till the 17th

I have to add to your disappointment Andy. I was talking with Anna last night, going over what we have coming up and making sure that we're on the same page, and I mentioned the meet/car show and she reminded me that that is the same weekend that I'm going to Chicago with the guys for a Cubs game. Totally spaced it out!!! Sorry guys. I WILL be in Ames for the ASS!!

I'm planning on cleaning, remasking and maybe having a beer or two on Saturday night. Should be pretty darn sweet.
I did a spring clean on the outside of my ride last night and it came out sooooo pretty. I'm showing my car even with the dent and mismatched skirts. I want to show off the supercharger and the rims badly and I'm not gonna be able to do any of that at our show.
I'm gonna find out if Rachel wants to show too. It would mean my cleaning two rides, but it could be fun to have both of us showing together because we have never done that.
Roy, do you remember how much registration is? Wasn't it like $30 or something?

I wasn't that much Alex, it is $10 if you register before May 10th, $15 if you do the 11th through the day of the show. I plan on cleaning my car after the meet late at night, and your welcome to sleep on our couch or airmatress, Rachel is welcome too! the lack of participation on the site has been discussed and is very frustrating.... but that is a topic for a new thread.
I spring cleaned the inside of my car last Sunday, need to do the same to the outside hopefully tomorrow or this weekend. which will include a hand washing and a much needed wax job...

That sounds good. I'm not sure if Rachel will show or not.
I have a ton to do for the show still (all that last minute stuff that I have to do every year) and we are ONLY TWO WEEKS AWAY!!
We may actually work out the final schedule and some other last minute details while relaxing at the camp. Could be a lot of fun.
Probably shouldn't be building trophys in the grass though...
