I'm shopping for new tires. Any suggestions where to shop around town?
They will be fitted to the 15" alloy on my 2005 xb

Suggestions on tires are welcome also. (looking for an all season tire)
I've heard good things about the BF Goodrich Traction T/A...

Thanks,
Gabe

discounttiredirect.com

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/searchTiresByVehicleAndSize.do?yr=2005&ar=60&rd=15&vid=008416&sw=false&cs=195

Hers out the door shipped to you http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/reviewOrder.do?vid=008416&yr=2005&zc=50301

or sometimes tirerack.com (sometimes a bit more expensive)

Not sure what your price range is but you can get Falken 912's for pretty decent price i have had 3 sets of these in 18 inch and they have treated me well or you could step up a little in price for the BFG T/A's

Thanks tahoepimp,
Any reason you chose the 195/60/R15?
(The Goodyear it came with are 185/60/R15)

Will the wider tire still fit on my rims okay?
Is there some reason I should consider buying wider tires?

195 should be the stock width any smaller that tht youll be riding on dinner plates the wider you go you tend to get a little more handeling/traction due to more contact patch

And yes they will still fit i wish i wouldnt have gotten rid of my stockers that i had sitting around i would sell them to ya although i do have some stock xd tires ill check the size tomorrow can prob sell them to ya for cheap

Hey Tahoe,
Do you run the Falkens in the snow? If so, how do they handle?

Nope my baby stays in the nice warm garage during winter i have run them on previous cars they handle like an average alll terrain tire no at tire is going to be great for that a set of Blizzaks or the equivalent on a set of steelies is your best bet if its your daily driver in that size they are also very affordable but for strapped cash situations the AT is goign to perform like any other tire in the snow be careful and youll be all good
