It was a rather calm Friday night in Ankeny... The sun was sinking below the skyline of the DMACC campus. Birds were settling in for the night. and the lights had just flickered on at Karl Chevrolet.

I was seated at table 17 at the local Ihop. With Jason, Courtney, and Olin, waiting patiently for our meal to be served to us, just BSing about this and that. Nothing exciting was happening. I just got another glass of Lemonade (because no place up here understands the concept of sweet tea!) and the table across from us just paid their bill and were getting up to leave.

During the conversation, I was doing what I do best, Staring off into space only interjecting with the every so often "Yep" and "uh-huh" (Hank Hill would be proud) I watched as the people that were seated across from us walked through the parking lot to their vehicle. Stopping only to read the stickers on the back of Jasons Bastard Carolla Wagon.

All of a sudden people across the resturaunt hear me burst out laughing. As I sat there trying to control myself Jason looks at me with the look on his face as to say "WTF Don, did you just see something shiny?" As I pointed for him to take a look at what I was watching intensely, he burst out in laughter as well. Sooner or Later Courtney joined in into our little moment of bliss.

Now I know what your thinking... Something along the lines of "Don, tell me whats so ****ing funny or Im gonna break your kneecaps" Right... Admit it...

Well. As the other group was standing by Jasons Vehicle, I could tell that they were struggling with the whole idea of the word "Scikotics" (my fingers just burned a little typing that) since there was more than likely a 4th grade edumacation between the 3 of em. So they felt the need to cock their heads a little bit to the left so that they could have a better vantage point of trying to get their brains to read something foreign to them...
