ok so we had a good Jan meet, time to start planning the Feb meet.  Any suggestions?  I'm thinking Des Moines or Ames... other than that throw ideas up.

I'm down for about anything. I'd even be good with a middle meet so-to-speak. I think it would be cool to get together at Taylors maid-rite again sometime. That was good food in a nice "historical" place if you will.

Taylor's would be cool, but doesn't have a lot of space to hang out and I don't want to do it outside in this weather.

Once upon a time we did a February meet in Des Moines on Court Ave. on the top of the parking garage which was cool.  We did dinner at the Court Ave. Brewing Co.  Might be fun to revisit that historic occasion.

^^Also a great choice...The Hessen Haus has great food too, and since it's a Bar & Grille, the youngins would be able to go in without any problems. I'm pretty much game for whatever the club as a whole decides.

Hessen Haus
Spagetti works
Court Ave Brewing Co.
Buffalo Wild Wings

I wish Buzzard Billy's was still around. Awesome food.

^^^^Speaking of places that serve aligator....^^^
I'd suggest eating at the new Bass Pro Shop's resturaunt, Uncle Bucks, but I don't know how they handle large groups. They also have bowling there so it could end up being like a bowling/food meet. we would need to call in advance for that one as they don't have a ton of lanes.  It's also set up a little like hooters whereas the waitresses are usually wearing pretty tight and little clothing. Not as skimpy as hooters(more like Daytona's) but not too far off.
