Hey everyone!  How are you all?

I'm working on getting a Mod Day set up for this month.  If you're interested, it'll probably be either the 17th or 24th at about 3 in the afternoon.

If we have enough people interested, we will also have a little cookout as well.

Right now we're probably going to meet at my house on the South side of Des Moines.  Jason and Dan, our Scion of Des Moines Champion is going to see if he can persuade his managers to let us do it at Scion of Des Moines, but it's not likely.

Let me know if you're interested!  I'll go ahead and put a roll call on here for you all.

That's great Riddle.  What did you order?  I just got my full 3rd brake light and am waiting for my cold air intake and radiator diversion panel which should be here SOON.

I got me a cold air intake, tail lights, headlights (halo), exhaust tip, and prolly order some side mirrors with the led lights, wanna get them hooked up to blink when the turn signals are on  and make them stay light up when the lights are on..

Not a problem Roy, I know what you mean!  Chances are good that our house is going to be a wreck because we'll be moving in about a week or two.  We're waiting to hear how long it will be before we can move into the apartment.

What: Drive-in Meet
When: Saturday, May 8th. Meet at rest stop @ 5:50pm. Gates open at 6:30pm.
Where: Valle Drive-in, Newton.
How Much $: Ages 12 and up - $7.50; Ages 5 thru 11 - $3.00; Ages 4 and under free (CASH ONLY).

They usually have a double feature but don’t list what’s showing until the week of. I will update this post when they update the showings for that week.

We need to arrive together to the drive-in to ensure we can all park together. To help us arrive at the same time, we will meet at the rest stop between Altoona and Mitchellville (Mile Marker 147) at 5:50 and will be rolling out AT 6pm. You may want to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on while we wait for the movie to start.

Important things to remember:
· Meet at rest stop
· Leave rest stop AT 6pm
· Gates open at 6:30pm
· Main Feature starts at dusk
· No grills
· Cash only

I will be bringing a roaster with brats and hot dogs to share (along with condiments/buns). Please sign up for a dish to share if you plan on coming along. Because people like many different drinks, please bring your own NON-alcoholic drinks.

2. Zach and Courtney- Potato salad and macaroni salads
3. Kelsi & Pete - Fruit salad (and maybe some form of dessert!) plates and plastic utensils
4. Tony & Amy - brownies or some sort of dessert, chips/dip
5. Jason and Cortiney (No munchkin) - Not sure what to bring--suggestions?
6. Robbie - not sure yet
7. Colby & Sharlie - Cookies
8. Lacey & Kody - Veggies
9. Andy (and Robin after work) - More chips and more dessert

I apologize for not posting this here sooner.  I've been busy all weekend at my old house cleaning it out.  I hope some of you are able to make it!  I'm also hoping that Ironman II will be there since it's opening weekend!

I apologize for the short notice, I haven't been online here a lot recently.

Scikotics is having a meet this Saturday if anyone is interested.

What: Next Meet, Potluck/Grill out
Where: Cottonwood at Saylorville Lake (see link below for map)
When: Saturday, June 19th – 5:00pm

For those who did not come last year, this shelter house has a fireplace, picnic tables, and REAL bathrooms attached. There are a few parking spaces right in front of it or 15 spaces that are a two minute walk downhill (seriously NOT far). If that isn’t enough, there is huge parking lot closer to the water but will require an uphill walk. It really isn’t that far though.

There is a flat grass area just off the shelter so we can play lawn games, etc. If the weather isn’t the best, we still have protection from the elements.

We will need someone to bring a small grill. Feel free to bring your lawn games to play!
