There is only 4 spots (I think) that do have grill with parking and cover.
My favorite is one before the end of the road (by marina rentals).
This image below is from Google Maps and it's very old because I can't see new grill places but I pointed them out with red. Red/Black is the one i love...

We met Andy and Robin there once last summer and the one we were at had a grill but no shelter other than shade I think. It worked well. I say who ever gets there 1st chooses and we all find you!

I'm psyched for this weekend! its going to be fun, now lets all hope it doesn't rain! remember this Sunday 1 ish at Big Creek Park.. 1st people there choose the location. Bring your prefered meat to grill, and a side or dessert to share! see you all there.

There should be those brick tents there so we should be covered. I'll call marina at B.Creek and ask them if we can maybe reserve one. Btw Roy "I'm psyched for this weekend!" I am too and trust me I am ..... Can somebody text me like an hour before in order NOT to forget my DSLR? PLZ PLZ PLZ...I have it on calendar too. |

Just found out that its first comes first serves for shelters otherwise is $26.50 to make reservation.
I think it would be great to just get one right next to the beach because it has BIG parking lot and there is 2 shelters one of them could be ours?
Thoughts?

I say we just shoot for a nice space and we get what we get. If it rain, so be it. :-) maybe we'll be lucky to get a nice shelter free of charge.

I'm with Jason on this one. Lets just play it by ear, if its not raining there are some really nice picnic spots away from the main areas. I plan on trying to be there by 12:30. If its nice we will have my car and that means luggage space is limited, so if someone else can pick up charcoal and lighter fluid I'll pay you back! don't forget to bring your preferred beverages too.
