Thought at the last meet you guys was talking about Ames?  We could find a park in Des Moines or ankeny some where so its close for most of us hehe! Don't know if you guys seen it, but the 28th this month the scikotics are doing another drive in get together!

Yeah, most of you guys are probably in or near Des Moines.  I wish I was aware of this group when I was going to school there.

Well we did mention Ames or Des Moines. I know of a couple others in the Quad Cities if we could persuade them to come out too maybe we could do that.  keep throwing out the ideas.. I'm thinking its too late in the month to plan one for August, we could try for the first part of september.. A BBQ would still work.  Maybe we could do a Saturday evening or something.

First weekend of sept i will be in the quad cities doing a dual b-day party for the wife and her mom. Maybe the 2nd week of sept would prolly work best for most people!

Or you guys can all come to the quad cities and party it up and share the b-day party with us lol! Sure it could be a blast...

Hey would you guys like to get together for a Scinergy/Scikotics meet perhaps?  I'm trying to think of something for our September Scikotics meet.

As Joe said before, we are also going to be going to the Newton Drive-In this coming Saturday if anyone is interested.  I sounds like they are showing Dinner For Schmucks and Vampires Suck.  We can try to save a little space for anyone who wants to join us!

Here is the info I put up on the Scikotics site.  The movies actually start at sun-down, but we wanted to get good parking last time and eat because we were doing a pot luck at the same time.  This time we're not doing a pot luck, so the timing won't be as important.  Let me know if you have any ideas or additions for this!

What: Drive-in Meet
When: Saturday, August 28th. Meet at rest stop @ 5:50pm. Gates open at 6:30pm.
Where: Valle Drive-in, Newton.
How Much $: Ages 12 and up - $7.50; Ages 5 thru 11 - $3.00; Ages 4 and under free (CASH ONLY).

The movies this weekend are going to be Dinner for Schmucks and Vampires Suck it looks like.

We need to arrive together to the drive-in to ensure we can all park together. To help us arrive at the same time, we will meet at the rest stop between Altoona and Mitchellville (Mile Marker 147) at 5:50 and will be rolling out AT 6pm. You may want to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on while we wait for the movie to start.

Important things to remember:
· Meet at rest stop
· Leave rest stop AT 6pm
· Gates open at 6:30pm
· Main Feature starts at dusk

the movie usually doesn't start until around 8ish.. I'd think you'd be able to make it with a little time to spare.
