Okay, here's the poll.  We'll do this by the numbers and the most open day wins!  I talked with Danny yesterday and he just wants as many Scions here as possible to show off.  Either day should work fine for the dealership.

:?: Can I change my vote? :?:   I just read Craig's post and he can't make it the 25th either, so if that's the case... I'll vote on the 11th.  I just want to see the best turn out we can get... so either day will work for me... just make sure the majority of us can be there!!

Our other option is to try for early October.  Weather could be a factor, but if we look at the 2nd or 9th (which is both Leif Erikson Day and Fire Prevention Day) that shouldn't be a problem.

Thinking Craig could be there was why I voted for the 25th.  So I'll change mine to the 11th as well!.

October works for me too if thats better for everyone.  I'm not picky.

Sounds like so far most people want the 11th, after everyone changes their votes, that is.  I think weather is going to be a factor in Oct., but I can still do Oct. if need be.

Looks like the votes are in and we're doing this thing on Saturday, Sept. 11th, 2004 (is that still "Patriot's Day?")!  I'm getting with my new car manager today to work out the paper advertisements (Ames Trib, Des Moines Register, and ISU Daily so far).

Here's the deal.  I would like everyone that is going to show to post here so we can get an accurate count.  If we can get about a dozen Scions there, that would be great!  This, of course, means that we need to bring in a few new people.  So, let's go recruit!

On the day of the show, when you bring your car in, we'll get it washed up (you can help, or do it yourself in our wash bay if you're picky about that kind of thing) and park them on the little hill area in the middle of our lot.  Other activities and the times are still TBD at this point.  I'll let you know when I know, but if you have suggestions, pm me!

This is going to be a ton of fun!  Let's get 'er done!
