Yes, Alex and Cisco and I discussed the possibility of having the next meet here in CR, My suggestion is that we have a barbque at Noelridge park... September should still be pretty nice, everyones cars should still be in summer attire.... I'll add a poll to your post and see if we can figure out a weekend.  I know there's at least one event that ScinergyOZ is throwing so that weekend is out... I'll figure out what weekend and leave that weekend off the poll...

Are you thinking like a potluck style gathering?
It would be cool to do that. Just get a list of who's showing up and who is bringing what.

Yea a Potluck would be great.  We could have maybe volleyball and other stuff to do.  Also while at the park we should take updated pictures for everybodys scion.

Just want to point out that Sept 4th is Labor Day weekend.  The 11th looks the best for our fam-damily.  Lily's 3rd birthday is Sept 26th, so I imagine we'll have some b-day stuff going on the 25th.

Lucky for me, I'm in no danger of becoming boxy. However, since we are going East Coast style (CR is only a 3 hour drive from Carthage) I will try to be there with one of my toys. My dad has been driving my tC all stinkin' summer, I think he likes the stares he gets in it vs. his Saturn. If I can't pry the keys out of his hands I might have to bring the Toyota up.

The only problem I see with the 11th is that its rivalry weekend.  The Hawks are in Ames and the game doesn’t start until 235.
Road game + late start + lots of beer = Mark no function the next day.

However, I probably wont drive myself back for the game so if I can talk Alex  :wink:  into giving me a ride back I'm down.

I know I've been a party pooper for awhile but I just can't get Sundays off!!! But I hope I can make this one. Maybe I'll take a vaca day. And I love the cookout idea, I've been wanting one of these meets for awhile!

Also, we need to do a serious vote about next year's Scinergy gathering, "Meet in the Middle Dos: The Empire Strikes Back".  I'm pretty sure I can guess the location we will vote for, but it will be good to get a concensus from our club to present to all the other chapters.

YES, BEER IS ALLOWED IN NOELRIDGE PARK!  To be specific, canned or bottled beer is allowed.  You have to get a permit if it's more than 1 quart size, i.e. No keggers.

OK judging from the votes I'm going to make an official call, Our next meet will be on Sunday September 25th In Cedar Rapids....We will be having a potluck/barbeque so everyone plan on bringing your favorite side dish, beer and favorite item to Grill!  I'll start a new thread with a sign up list for everyone who can make it.... I'm thinking around 2:00 or 3:00 would be good with plans to eat later. I'll see if the pavillion is availble.  We can do some pictures while it is nice and light out, I think we need to update the group photo and try to get some individual owner/vehical shots too.
